Columbus Metropolitan Library has 2 FREE Business Information Classes in January

The Business Information Class I is a FREE two-hour class on Monday January 14 from 1-3 p.m. in the Loft on the 3rd floor of Main Library, 96 S Grant Ave, Columbus, Oh 43215. This class is for startup entrepreneurs. You will learn how to use our catalog to find print and eBooks on writing a business plan, how to research an industry, and much more. Monday August 13, from 1:00 to 3:00 in the computer training Loft on the 3rd floor of Main Library is Business Information Class 2, Research Strategies for Business Growth.  We do not require registration for these classes.  The next class in August is Wednesday August 22 from 6:00 to 8:00, business Information Class 1 for Startup Entrepreneurs.  See the class flyer below for class descriptions, and a class schedule through December 2012. …See More

Hello Barbara-

My name is Tracey Yates and I am in the process of trying to start my own business with a girlfriend of mine. We have decided on a name and are in the process of writing our business plan. We have scheduled to attend the BASE workshop through Columbus State this Thursday evening and am excited to learn all that there is to learn about entrepreneurship. My mother Corrine Tanner works for the library and suggested that I contact you for more information. So if there is more that you can share, I'd love to hear and learn about making my business a successful one.
