Things Every Inventor Should Know!!!
1. Calling the 800 number you see on late-night television will seperate you from some of your money.
2. Prototyping you products can be started with some construction paper, scissors and glue.
3. Freinds and family will always tell they like your idea - instead, ask a stranger what they'll pay and how many they want.
4. In the War of 1812 the British burned everything in Washington but the US Patent and Trade Mark office - because that's where all the science and engineering knowledge for a new economy resided. Protect your ideas

Since 1984, Inventors Network has been a central Ohio-based non-profit, member-supported organization committed to: educate support and encourage inventors; assist them in learning how to protect, promote and benefit from their inventions; and further pubic education relative to inventions and thir impact on society and the economy.
Their web site is www.inventorscolumbus.com. There meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday each month at TechColumbus, 1275 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH.
The October meeting will be about Business Plans.
